An explanation about our maneuvers.
As an opposing team, we use aircraft with critical operations when compared to General or Commercial Aviation (PER/E for example). Therefore, it is necessary to use procedures of a military nature (peel off, for example).
Some of these peculiarities can be found at:
SBGP normal arrivals
North - RPR
East - PIR
Procedures
Some (e.g. emergency training) are normally reserved to be done at our base, SBGP.
As dispersion procedures (aka peel off, overhead break...), they will always be carried out upon arrival or return to the aerodrome, regardless of the number of aircraft, requiring an almost high-speed approach.
Formation flights always occur with the responsibility of separation and maintenance of position on behalf of the pilots, and coordination or separation of other traffic on the part of the lead pilot.
Callsigns (the identification of an aircraft in flight by the squadron will always be VLH, indicated in field 18 the radio call sign CS/XXXX):
Indicative - Function - Example
Valhalla - Basic - CS/VALHALLA01
Vidar - Rotorcraft - CS/VIDAR02
Hoder - IFR training - CS/HODER03
Viking - Visitor/Outsider - CS/VIKING04
